Project Freshman - AOL Casting Nationwide

AOL JOB FOR FALL 2005 COLLEGE FRESHMAN! CREATE VIDEO DIARY- AOL(Nationwide)
Would your first semester in college make a cool online reality show?
RED, the teen web network of AOL, is searching for a select group of incoming freshman to star in “Project Freshman”, a new reality web series.
If selected, you’re first semester experience will be broadcasted via the web all over the world AND you will get $ PAID $ weekly! If you’re interested in starring in your own series and making some cash, we want to hear from you.

Goto www.projectfreshman.com to submit.

‘Project Freshman' is a temporarily titled new Internet documentary series for AOL that follows six
different first year students as they make the transition from high school kids to college co-eds.
Coming from different backgrounds and attending different universities, each student will share their
personal experience with the AOL world.

This is how it will work. Our director with a small crew will shoot the opening of the series in the
student’s hometown and follow them to the university they’re attending. When the director wraps the
crew he’ll hand the student their very own DV camera, take the crew and leave. Our unobtrusive 2
man crews will be on campus for no more than 4-5 days total and will clear all visits with media
relations.

As the student begins their first semester away from home he/she will take on the exciting task of
visually documenting the rest of their experience... themselves. Each student will shoot their own
footage, conduct interviews, film confessionals, and keep a written diary posted on AOL.
