February 12, 2004MTV Documentary looking for subjectsMTV News & Documentary show "My life Translated" is a series about multicultural teens in America who grow up with one set of values at home and experience an entirely different set socially on the outside. It's a fascinating look at the lives of young people juggling two different worlds; what it means to be "all American" when you don't quite fit the textbook definition. We are looking for Asian documentary subjects between 15 and 25 who are thinking of having double eyelid surgery, have already had the procedure, or are planning to have it. Is this something your family and friends accept or do you feel conflicted about having it? Have your parents pressured you to have it, or is it your own decision? We want to talk to you! Please write to us, tell us your story and your contact information to: allamerican@mtvstaff.com Posted by inthestars at February 12, 2004 03:16 AM |
