Tidbit from the first season of America's Next Top Model

Here's a bit of inside info from Elyse Sewell, a contestant on the first season of 'America's Next Top Model':

"Robin, Kesse and I all walked on the Baby Phat runway; several times we were right behind Adrianne or Shannon. Every contestant eliminated before Kesse got to go back to her hometown within days, but after that we had to stay on in the Flatotel until the filming of the show was over.
The show occurred the day before the winner was selected. Robin, Kesse and I participated for the sole purpose of disguising from the makeup and hair artists which girls were in the final two. The five of us, along with a few other New York models hired for further disguising who was a contestant and who was not (you can see these girls walking in jeans, not Baby Phat costumes, during the footage of the show in the final ep), walked on the Baby Phat runway a few hours before the actual Baby Phat show began. The footage of the crowded audience and the real BP models were edited in to make it look like the ANTM contestants participated in the real show. We did not. The auditorium was empty except for the panel of judges and a few other assorted people preparing for the show."
