Spy Reports about Real World San Diego
The next season of MTV's 'The Real World' is in San Diego. Here are spy reports from people who've found the location of the new house.
Report #1: My boyfriend, Mom and I went to the house around 7:30pm tonight. First we watched it from Shelter Island with some binoculars (tip: the South/east side of the island and it has no security guards over there). Around 7:35pm all the lights went on in the house. On the bottom deck we saw 2 bicycles.
On the top they have two decks (north/east and south/east) ... on the South/east side there are two sword fish hanging above the doorway (I think they were colored orange and blue, not 100% sure though). On the North/east deck there's a table with an umbrella ... someone male was sitting at the table in a white shirt and white hat ... both top decks have lights hanging ... one side has white circle lights and the other is multicolored lights ... the roof is outlined in white lights.
We drove over to the house and the security guard stopped us (He looks like John Candy) ... my Mom acted like we were lost and looking for a restaurant (Point Loma Sea Food) down the street ... he gave us directions and let us go forward (to the house) to make a U-turn...
ALL of the sudden ....
Three people, a camera guy and sound guy got out of the car (SUV type). The camera guy looked like he was filming but there was no light guy (which made no sense b/c it was dark out [8:00pm])... There was a girl with red/orange hair in a ponytail with a mic on ... a guy with a black hat on (ooked like a white guy) ... and a girl that looked like Rachel from RW:SF ... but I couldn't see if she had a mic on (she also gave me a dirty look) ... They were moving from the Tan SUV type car into a big white van ... and by then are U-turn was complete
Report #2: We went to the old Blue Crab restaurant to see the RW house. It looks awesome from the outside! We got a couple of pictures from the pier.
After parking and walking up to the house, we talked to the same security guard (the John Candy lookalike) about 1/2 hour before you. We prompted him by saying that we heard the Real World was going to be filmed at the house, to which he replied, "no they're shooting a soft-core."
We played along with his story by saying "oh really."
He then said, "yeah, they're filming a soft-core porn. A lot of people have been coming by, thinking that this is where the Real World is taping though. I think that it's actually down that way (points northwest).
"Oh really," we replied (playing dumb but knowing that he was the one of the worst liars I'd ever encountered)
I mean, what kind of story is that! Who shoots a soft core porn at a house like that. It was obvious that his claim was false.
Unfortunately, we didn't see anyone or any action/noise when we were talking to him near the house.
He ended the conversation by saying "...well this is private property, and I'm going to have to ask you to leave now."
We asked if we could take a picture of the house to which he said "no."
We replied "alright, well thanks anyway."
We walked back to our car and left, wanting to see more.
