September 19th Episode
Andi visits another person for an interview. She wants to know what it takes to get to a certain level.
The lady suggests that Andi pitch her own show to Women's Entertainment or Oxygen and says that she does not have to start at the local level. Andi says she does not have the confidence and that maybe she is looking for an internship to give her that feeling.
Nyanza whines about Maureen's smoking and says that her going in and out bring in flies. She complains about the size of the flies and says she's killed a bunch.
Christine tells Rhonda that going out and having fun means that the Cassie can't come because most fun places are 21 and over. Rhonda says that she shouldn't feel that sort of responsibility towards Cassie because she's not here to look after anyone.
Nyanza and Christine say that Maureen never bathes. She showers every 3 to 5 days.
Rhonda talks to Maureen and asks if she's ok, in response to the complaints about Maureen's BO. Maureen says she's fine, but doesn't feel like changing out of her pajamas.
A hypnotist comes to help Cassie and Maureen with their smoking problem.
Lori says she started smoking to recreate Jon's kiss. She says she can't give up smoking because it doesn't come from a physical need.
Andy is instructed to write a good bye letter to her career goals which makes her cry. Rhonda says that she is afraid to pursue her goals because that will make her vulnerable; Andy is operating from a real place of fear. She says she's been trying to get her career started for 12 years.
Lori buys a bunch of nice sexy dresses from the Limited.Cassie says that she's never seen that side of Lori.
Later, Lori and Cassie go back to the house and Lori models the dresses for Nyanza.
Nyanza, Lori and Cassie go out to The Main, which is a male exotic dancer club. Lori dances energetically with a sexy guy.
Maureen performs at another club. Later, she says that
she rushed through, was distracted by her personal issues. Her mentor says that she's doing this for someone else and not her. Maureen says that she doesn't want to say anything mean about Larry, her husband and that's why she was holding back.
Andy is invited to a workshop by the woman who interviewed her for an internship in a previous episode. The workshop is sponsored by the Association of National Black Journalists. At the workshop, the attendees are supposed to bring clippings and videotapes of themselves to be critiqued.
In the next episode, Cassie learns to be a lady. She takes lessons and learns how to walk and eat at the dinner table. The others say that she burps and curses too much. Christine and Lori take dancing lessons. Andy intrudes and later she gets upset.
