Ever Wish You Could Contact the Dead?
Wouldn't it be AWESOME if you could connect with that special someone who unfortunately is no longer with you… or are they? What would you say to them? What would they say to you?
MTV wants to know if someone close to you has died within the last 1-3 years, and since their death, you’ve been unable to move forward or felt stuck in your goals, love life and career? Would you like to get unstuck?
BREAKTHROUGH is an exciting new series where you’ll push past your limits, triumph over tragedy, connect with the people who’ve died, and find out what you’re really made of in a way you’ve never seen before.
If you are between the ages of 18-23 and live in Los Angeles, then we want to see and hear from you…
Please take a few minutes to answer the following questions on PAPER and then again, on VHS tape or mini DV videotape. Please keep all videotape submissions to 5 MINUTES MAX.

1. What is the relationship of the person to you? (ie. Brother, sister, boyfriend, girlfriend, mom, dad, friend.)
(*Please DO NOT give their name or describe how they died. Anyone, who describes how they died or gives any details, will unfortunately be ineligible to appear on the show.)
2. If you had the chance to contact the person who died one more time, would you be open to it?
3. Since their death, what is something you've stopped doing that you’d love to start again?
4. What is something you've started doing that you know would be good for you to stop?
5. Who are the top 3 celebrities and/or recording artists you would love to meet and why?
